We make apps people come back to.

Sparkly, LLC is an independent app studio. We design, build and run consumer apps for iPhone, Android and the web.

Our first app, HMU Chat, helps people meet someone new and start a real conversation. It has been downloaded more than 500,000 times across the App Store and Google Play. Since then we have launched Sketchwell for drawing on real paper, MemeYou for reaction GIFs starring you, Glowly for fixing the photos you already have, and Side Quests Today for getting off your phone and trying something new.

We keep the team small and the apps focused. That lets us move quickly and keep improving each app long after it ships.

What we care about

Clarity. You should understand what an app does in the first few seconds, and it should do exactly that.

Craft. Native performance, careful typography and details that hold up after the hundredth use.

Trust. We explain in plain words what each app does with your data, and we never sell it.
